# Danali
>[!infobox|right]
>![[danali.png|Danali]]
Elegant and poised, Danali walk with the burden of guardianship. These deer- and elkfolk are protectors by instinct. Graceful in motion, resolute in duty. Most Danali craft emblems of strength to bear on their equipment, calling upon [[The Avatars]] to protect and those in need. They often see strength in truth and pride, and can be regularly found around those who would uphold the same values.
###### Mountain Danali
The roots of your strength stretches through the mountains. Mountain Danali are often taller than Valley Danali, standing between 6 and 7 feet tall, and tend to weigh around 200 to 250 lbs.
###### Valley Danali
You see the resilience of grazing fields, grass so strong it can withstand a stampede. Valley Danali are often shorter than Mountain Danali, standing between 5 and 6 feet tall, and often weight around 120 lbs.
###### Height and Weight
>[!infobox|txt-c wm-sm left]
># Random Height and Weight Table
>>[!infobox|txt-c wfull] Mountain Danali
>>Base Height | Base Weight | Height Modifier | Weight Modifier |
>>---|---|---|---|
>>5' 10" | 220 lb. | +2d6" | x 1d4 lb. |
>
>>[!infobox|txt-c wfull] Valley Danali
>>Base Height | Base Weight | Height Modifier | Weight Modifier |
>>---|---|---|---|
>>4' 10" | 100 lb. | +2d6" | x 1d4 lb. |
If you'd like, you can roll on the Random Height and Weight Table to determine your height and weight. Start by rolling the **Height Modifier** dice then roll the **Weight Modifier** dice. Take the total of the **Height Modifier** dice and add it to your **Base Height**, then take that same total—the total of the **Height Modifier** dice—and Multiply it by the **Weight Modifier** dice total, adding the new total to your **Base Weight**.
###### Danali Names
Danali names are often lyrical, flowing, and evocative, much like their [[Wildling]] counterparts. There is a soft regal undertone, with names that sound ancient yet warm, reflecting a people bound to passion.
