These features are listed in the [[#Jack Features]] table. ###### Jack Features >[!infobox|wfull] >Level | Proficiency | Features | Specialist Slots >:---:|:---:|---|:---:| > 1 | +2 | Jack of All Trades, Specialist, Shared Study | 1 | > 2 | +2 | Ability Score Improvement | 1 | > 3 | +2 | - | 1 | > 4 | +2 | Ability Score Improvement | 1 | > 5 | +3 | Combat Study | 2 | > 6 | +3 | Ability Score Improvement | 2 | > 7 | +3 | Skilled Helper | 2 | > 8 | +3 | Ability Score Improvement | 2 | > 9 | +4 | Improved Jack of All Trades | 3 | > 10 | +4 | Ability Score Improvement | 3 | > 11 | +4 | Combat Experience | 3 | > 12 | +4 | Ability Score Improvement | 3 | > 13 | +5 | Practiced Hands | 4 | > 14 | +5 | Ability Score Improvement | 4 | > 15 | +5 | - | 4 | > 16 | +5 | Ability Score Improvement | 4 | > 17 | +6 | Combat Savant | 5 | > 18 | +6 | Ability Score Improvement | 5 | > 19 | +6 | Epic Boon | 5 | > 20 | +6 | True Mastery | 5 | #### Level 1: Jack of All Trades You can add half your Proficiency Bonus (round down) to any ability check you make that uses a skill proficiency you lack and that doesn’t otherwise use your Proficiency Bonus. For example, if you make a Strength (Athletics) check and lack Athletics proficiency, you can add half your Proficiency Bonus to the check. #### Level 1: Shared Study You are a good learning, and although you may not excel at one thing, you understand how to do most everything else. When you complete a short or long rest, you can gain proficiency in a Skill or Tool that one of your allies is proficient in. The number of proficiencies you can have at one time through Shared Study is equal to your proficiency bonus. If you would gain a proficiency through Shared Study and have the maximum allowed, you must replace one you know. #### Level 1: Specialist When you complete a long rest, you can have an ally teach you a feature from their feature's list. You must be able to meet the prerequisites and can only take each feature one time. For features that gain bonuses based on level, you are treated as though you've taken one level into the class *(Ex. Inspiration Die, Sneak Attack)*. The number of features you can keep at once is shown in the Specialist Slots column of the [[#Jack Features]] table. You keep this feature until you spend a long rest to learn a new one. If you would learn a new one and all of your Specialist slots are filled up, you only lose one of your current features. If you learn the Spellcasting feature from any class through Specialist, you choose a single Cantrip and a single Level spell that the ally can cast. You can cast the spell once each day without using a spell slot, regaining use of the spell when you complete a long rest and still have the Spellcasting feature learned through Specialist. Intelligence is your spell casting modifier for this spell. #### Level 2: Ability Score Improvement You gain the Ability Score Improvement feat (see chapter 5) or another feat of your choice for which you quality. You gain this feature again at Jack levels 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18. #### Level 5: Combat Study Your experience through life has taught you fundamental skills that stick around. Choose one of the following options. ***Combatant***: You gain the Extra Attack feature and weapon mastery in one weapon of your choice. ***Magician***: You learn one cantrip and one 1st-level spell from any spell list. Your spell casting ability is Intelligence. You can cast the 1st-level spell chosen this way once each day without using a spell slot. You regain use of this spell upon completing a long rest. If you already have the Lucky feat, this is in addition to the three points you gain from the feat. #### Level 7: Skilled Helper When you use the Help action to give an ally advantage on a skill check for which you are proficient with, you also impart a bonus to the roll equal to your Intelligence modifier. #### Level 9: Improved Jack of All Trades Your adaptability continues to expand. You can add half your Proficiency Bonus (round down) to any initiative rolls, attack rolls, and saving throws you make that doesn’t otherwise use your Proficiency Bonus. Additionally, when rolling a skill check, you may add your Strength modifier to the roll. You may choose to add this after you roll but before you know the outcome of the check. This can be used a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses of this when you complete a long rest. #### Level 11: Combat Experience Training and understanding has lead you to a deeper understanding of the fundamental skills. As a Bonus action, you can have one of your allies do the following: - Make one attack with advantage. - Move their movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks. - Cast a cantrip of their choice. Alternatively, you can have the enemy do one of the following: - Make an attack with disadvantage. Finally, if you choose to do none of the above, you can do one of the following: - Make one attack. - Dash or Disengage. - Taunt an enemy, granting disadvantage on their next attack if it isn't against you. ***Spellwanderer.*** You've become a quick learner. When someone casts a spell of 3rd level or lower, you can use your reaction to focus on remembering that spell. For 1 minute or until you cast the spell, you can cast that spell as though you had it prepared *(you must provide any material requirements or use a spell focus)*. You can only remember one spell at a time. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier and regain all uses on a long rest. ***Pure Luck.*** You gain the Lucky feat.
